THE BEST PHOTO SPOTS AT DOMAINE DES HALLES

This venue is visually stunning, but it requires a bit of planning to make the most of it.

    My favorite spots:

    • Indoor staircases: perfect for strong, editorial-style images
    • Bedrooms: ideal for softer, intimate moments
    • Château entrance: for iconic shots
    • Terraces and gardens with views of the hills

    Lighting tips:

    • Staircases are quite dark → a flash is essential
    • Bedrooms aren’t very large → manage distance and composition carefully
    • Outdoors → best light in the mid-afternoon; perfect for beautiful drone shots, with or without the couple

The key advice: plan your time wisely. The estate is vast, and every spot deserves attention.

    FROM THE PHOTOGRAPHER’S PERSPECTIVE

What I love about this venue is the sense of space.

Even with many guests, it’s easy to find moments alone with the couple to create uninterrupted images — something rare in venues of this size.

The estate allows for a huge variety of atmospheres without ever leaving the property, which is perfect for telling a full story through your photos.

    A memorable moment:
A shot on the staircase, on the first floor, with flash. The couple laughing, carried by the energy of the moment — spontaneous, lively, and perfectly enhanced by the surroundings.

    My advice:
Take the time to explore all the spaces in advance. This venue has incredible potential, but you need to plan ahead to make the most of it.
