The best photo spots at Mas de la rose
This is one of those rare venues where indoor photography is just as Gardens and Mas Exterior: Ideal for portraits in late afternoon light. Lavender, olive trees, and pine-lined paths add color and texture.
Terrace and Pool Area: Great for candid moments and cocktail-hour portraits.
Nearby Village of Eygalières: Offers charming streets for engagement sessions, first looks, or romantic couple portraits.
Scenic local excursions: Consider nearby Alpilles villages, Camargue, Les Baux-de-Provence, or cities like Avignon, Arles, and Aix-en-Provence for additional variety.
Photographer Tip: Plan prep photos outdoors due to darker interiors. Golden hour portraits in the gardens are especially stunning.
From a Photographer’s Perspective
Shooting at Mas de la Rose is magical. The natural light in the gardens and pool area, combined with Provencal colors and scents, creates authentic and romantic photos. One of my favorite shots captured a ceremony exit in the garden during golden hour, with soft sunlight and the joyful atmosphere of the couple and their guests.
Pro Tip for Photographers: Don’t miss the nearby village of Eygalières — it provides charming streets and unique backdrops for portraits without leaving the area.
